Compute, storage and GPU
on one platform

Four services on the Zadara Cloud Platform, deployed inside Israeli data centres and managed end to end by SpotNet. All of them include built-in DR and continuous data protection.

Compute

Flexible cloud compute as a service, a full IaaS layer. Resources grow with the workload, with no hardware procurement, and the meter is true Pay-As-You-Go against a budget you can forecast.

Block and File storage

Fast data storage for applications and for files, on the same platform that runs the compute. It is part of the unified storage layer that also carries Object, and Active Directory integration is built in.

Object storage on S3

Object storage for backup and archive, with a full standard S3 interface for applications to work against. Immutable Storage and Object Lock hold copies safe from malicious deletion and ransomware, an Air-Gapped Backup keeps a disconnected copy, and volume expands elastically. HYCU, Commvault and Veeam integrate with it fully.

GPU infrastructure

Acceleration for AI workloads and heavy processing, delivered as GPU-as-a-Service on the NVIDIA Cloud Partner architecture. 1, 2, 4 or 8 GPUs pass through to a VM at bare-metal performance, a dedicated Spectrum-X fabric runs between them, BlueField DPUs carry network acceleration and hardware-level isolation, and the NVIDIA AI stack - RAPIDS, Triton, NeMo and NIM - runs on Kubernetes.

How it is built

Six drawings of the parts a decision usually turns on - where the data physically sits, how a GPU reaches a tenant, what a retention lock refuses, and which direction replication runs.

Where the data sits

The platform is deployed inside Israeli data centres, and the traffic between the organisation and its storage stays within the country.

One platform, three surfaces

Compute, storage and GPU are drawn from the same pooled capacity, so growth on one does not mean a separate procurement for another.

GPUs allocated whole

A GPU passes through to a tenant VM at bare-metal performance. A dedicated Spectrum-X fabric runs between the GPU nodes, and a BlueField DPU holds each tenant apart at the hardware edge.

A copy that cannot be changed

Object Lock holds a retention term on the written object, so a delete is refused while the term runs. A second copy is kept air-gapped.

Replication between sites

Each write at the production site leaves for the recovery site as it lands - continuous replication at block level, not a scheduled copy.

Moving a VMware estate

Machines move in waves and their storage follows them. The source keeps serving until its wave has cut over.

Sovereign Cloud

A global cloud platform deployed in Israeli data centres, so the data stays inside the country's borders. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, with a full audit trail and advanced access control behind it.

S3 compatibility

Object storage with a full standard S3 interface, so applications and backup tools address it the way they already work. HYCU, Commvault and Veeam integrate with it directly.

Pay-As-You-Go, no egress charges

Consumption billing on an operating model, OpEx only, with no charge for moving data out of the cloud and a budget you can forecast. Resources expand without a hardware procurement cycle, and the data stays under your control with no vendor lock-in. It is an economical alternative to the hyperscalers, at a 50% cost saving.

Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law
the controls that answer it

Four of the amendment's requirements, each with the platform capability that covers it. SpotNet and Zadara supply the controls; the compliance work around them stays with the organisation.

Data integrity and protection from modification

Immutable Storage and Object Lock are built into the platform's S3 storage. An object written under a lock cannot be modified or deleted while the lock is in force, so the retained copy stays as it was written.

Keeping the data inside Israel

The service runs as a Sovereign Cloud. The Zadara platform is deployed in Israeli data centres and the storage is local, so the data stays inside the country's borders, and SpotNet operates it as a managed service with local 24/7 support.

Information security and encryption

Encryption in transit and at rest is part of the managed platform, applied to the data as it moves between systems and as it sits in storage. SpotNet configures and maintains it as part of the service.

Control and action logging

The platform keeps a full audit trail of the actions taken on the data, and access control governs who is able to take them. Together they give an organisation a record of what was done, by whom and under which permission.

GPU infrastructure on the
NVIDIA Cloud Partner architecture

Zadara implements the NVIDIA Cloud Partner architecture for multi-tenant, sovereign and secure GPU cloud deployment. SpotNet runs it inside data centres in Israel, with 24/7 monitoring and full lifecycle management.

GPU Passthrough

Allocation of 1, 2, 4 or 8 GPUs to a single VM, at bare-metal performance. The allocation is set per machine, so a development environment and a training run draw from the same pool at the size each one needs.

GPU-Net Fabric

A dedicated Spectrum-X network between the GPUs. Traffic from multi-GPU jobs moves across a fabric of its own, at the bandwidth those jobs need to keep the cards fed.

BlueField DPU

Network acceleration and security isolation handled at the hardware level, on the DPU itself. The isolation boundary sits in silicon, below the tenant environment.

Multi-Tenant isolation

Full per-tenant isolation using VRF and VXLAN. Zadara implements the NVIDIA Cloud Partner architecture for multi-tenant, sovereign and secure GPU cloud deployment, and SpotNet deploys it in data centres in Israel.

NVIDIA AI stack

RAPIDS, Triton, NeMo and NIM running on Kubernetes. The platform carries full readiness for Kubernetes and Multi-Cloud, so the stack runs on the same infrastructure as the rest of the estate.

Fully managed

24/7 monitoring and full lifecycle management. SpotNet operates the environment as a managed service with local support, on the Zadara Cloud Platform.

The S3 layer -
copies that stay as written

The object layer is where the backup and archive copies sit. The interface is fully S3 compatible, so backup software writes to it directly, and these are the controls that run on it.

Immutable Storage

Data written to the object layer is held so that it cannot be modified, and malicious deletion is blocked in the storage itself. This is what answers the data integrity requirement in Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law.

Object Lock

An object under lock stays as it was written. A ransomware event in the production estate does not reach the copy held on this layer.

Air-Gapped Backup

A copy kept disconnected from the live environment, on the same managed platform as the rest of the service. It is there to restore from in the cases where the online copies were hit as well.

Elastic scale

Capacity grows with the retention you keep, with no hardware procurement in the way, and moving data out of the cloud carries no charge. HYCU, Commvault and Veeam integrate with the layer in full, so the backup tooling already in place keeps running.

Production workloads,
on a managed platform

The estates that move here are the ones already in production: virtualisation, containers, a second site for recovery, and the directory the organisation already authenticates against. Each has its place on the Zadara Cloud Platform, and SpotNet operates it as a managed service.

VMware environments

The platform is a proven alternative for VMware environments, with compute delivered as a service and full IaaS on the Zadara Cloud Platform. SpotNet's VMware Exit engagement builds the migration strategy for the move.

Kubernetes, end to end

End-to-end container management, on a platform with full readiness for Kubernetes and Multi-Cloud. The clusters run on the same infrastructure that carries the compute and the storage they depend on.

DR between sites

Continuous protection at block level between sites, with DR built into every service on the platform. DR Planning covers the full disaster recovery plan for the estate.

Active Directory integration

Active Directory integration is built in at the platform level, as part of its enterprise integration. Advanced access control and a full audit trail sit alongside it.

What the move does to the budget

SpotNet Cloud is billed as Pay-As-You-Go and sits in the operating budget. There is no hardware to procure, no charge for moving data out, and the monthly figure follows the resources actually in use.

No egress charges

Moving data out of the cloud carries no charge. A restore, or a workload that regularly reads data back into your own environment, adds nothing to the invoice.

OpEx only, no CapEx

The infrastructure is consumed as a service, so the spend sits in the operating budget. There is no capital purchase and no procurement round to fund before the service is running.

A 50% saving against the hyperscalers

Compared with the hyperscalers, the platform is costed at a 50% cost saving. It is a figure to put against your current bill, which is what a Cloud Assessment is for.

Expansion without procurement

Adding compute or storage is a change on the platform, with no hardware to buy first. Billing follows the resources in use, so the budget stays transparent and can be forecast from month to month.

What does this cover for Amendment 13?
The platform provides the controls the amendment asks for: Immutable Storage and Object Lock for data integrity, local storage for residency, encryption in transit and at rest, and a full audit trail with access control. Compliance also depends on how the organisation configures and operates its own systems.
Is the object storage S3 compatible?
Yes. It presents a full standard S3 interface, so applications and backup tools that speak S3 work against it without change.
What does it cost to move data out?
